About Our Classes

Feel free to pop in to see the studio any Saturday during open studio!

Classes are one day a week for two hour sessions. There are nine students per class. Our classes focus on the basics of hand building and throwing on the potter's wheel. Your first session will be a directed course with introductory projects to teach you the different methods of construction. Once you have completed the introductory projects and learned studio policies, you may start independent projects.

Saturdays are open studio for students enrolled in any class. This is not instructional time, but students may use all of our equipment, tools, and workspace. Students may come and go as they please.

Class Fees

Classes are in 5 week sessions or 12 week sessions. Enrollment is open at any time. Once you enroll, your weeks begin. Open to all skill levels ages 13 and up!

5 Week Class Session - $235 - includes all glazing, firing, and access to class tools and equipment.

12 Week Class Session - $500 - includes all glazing, firing, and access to class tools and equipment.

First bag of clay is free! (It's big - 25 lbs!). Additional bags of clay may be purchased at any time if desired.

Dedicated teens 13 and up may join the adult studio classes with parent permission.

Payment can be made at your first class by cash, check, or credit card.
